Seeking Freaks!

Next Monday, April 20th between 7-10pm at Ninkasi (2nd/Van Buren) there will be an Open call audition for a new comedy/music web series about Eugene and Eugene culture. Cindy Ingram Booking & Promotions, LLC and Altered Impact Media, sponsored by Ninkasi Brewing, are seeking strong actors, comedians and all around funny people to be in the ensemble cast. The style is edgy, fast paced and current.

The auditions will be filmed and used in future episodes of the show, as well as for promotional purposes. We will also have a live feed of the audition broadcasted on-online. We want to make it an exciting and fun event. (Think open call for American Idol).

We are looking for people to come to the audition to represent the wacky culture of Eugene. Oregon Country Fair Hippies, Bike lovin’ fluorescent fashion geniuses, lumberjacks, computer geeks, body modification fanatics, fans of fetish night… Whatever! The more extreme the better. Will you audition for the show? Pretend to audition for the show? Be there in front of the camera to have fun? We need your help! 18+ or 21+ is preferred as the humor may involve adult content.

Lesson of the day: Unmp, not exactly sure yet, but it appears several of the last postings nearing the end of the Sexiest Tattoo & Piercing Artist game have turned up missing. We’re searching to see if they were archived somewhere in this wordpress dadabase program… We’ll keep ya posted. in the meantime, we will prepare a recap with stats and photos and post it ASAP.

YAY!! We’re back on line! Sorry for the crazyness… We thought a simple switching of hosts for this site would be no biggie, but several days went by where we were lost in the black hole of nothingness. No website, no Blinky, no Vektra no ridiculous cat graphics.

We’re back and we’re ready to bust out some serious promotions for the big Eugene Chosen show at the WOW hall on may 16th. WHO Whoo!

The sinister minds of LYCKWYD have been plotting against the other bands chosen to perform at the wow hall on May 16th. LYCKWYD is set to unleash a dastardly UN-EARTH day celebratory tree chopping on April 22nd, (earth day for you retards who don’t know)  right outside the Eugene city courthouse.

“We love the earth, I mean.. It helps us to live right? But I hate trees, they really piss me off. You know, with all their growing, roots, leaves and that frikin oxygen thing…PLEASE… All trees must die.”

Of course LYCKWYD will be in disguise during the actual act, wearing their favorite fellow ‘chosensters bands t-shirts and blaring the music of HSHJ, Killer Wails and Sons Of Confusion…
